Dressing Up Or Down With Unique Scarves And Shawls

Unique scarves and pashmina shawls are all the rage, but it can be difficult to choose just one or two. With so many fascinating designs out there, one can easily spend a fortune buying up all the pashmina wraps and funky scarves they lay their eyes on. Instead, it's better to choose a couple unique scarves and shawls that will be able to coordinate with many different outfits and occasions.

When choosing colored pashmina wraps and shawls, it's best to have one in a neutral color and one in a multicolored design. The multicolored pashmina shawls should be in two or three colors that match different wardrobe pieces and accessories you already have in your collection. Unique scarves often come in many different colors and funky designs, which is great, but the same principle should be followed.

As long as one color in the scarf matches one color in your outfit, it's golden. Boldly patterned clothes, on the other hand, are better complimented by pashmina wraps in neutral colors. Polka dots wouldn't look fitting with multicolored pashmina shawls, for example. Both plain and utterly unique scarves, shawls and wraps make a great addition to any wardrobe, and they work well for both formal and casual functions.
