A Cost Effective Way To Renew Your Wardrobe Silk Shawls

Most women go, from time to time, though the process of renewing their wardrobe and this isn't necessarily because their old clothes don't fit anymore or because they're outdated, but rather because they're tired of them. But what they don't realize is that there are much simpler solutions for updating your outfits and one of them is getting some new accessories.

Some of the most versatile accessories are the silk shawls or scarves and they are an incredibly valuable asset for any woman's wardrobe. They can make a plain outfit look bold and interesting, or a very elegant outfit look a bit more casual. The key is knowing what silk shawls to buy and then how to mix and match them with the clothes already in your closet.

The basic silk shawls you need to have are the ones in solid colors. A few tips to remember when shopping for such items: they shouldn't be the exact same color or shade as your clothes, but rather colors that coordinate well with them. Sometimes having all your clothes and accessories in the same color can make for an uninspired outfit. Try to break the monotony with a completely different color, but make sure it's coordinated with the others and that you don't look like a rainbow. The solid color silk shawls you buy should also go well with your complexion: they should flatter you eye, hair or skin color.

You should also have some patterned silk shawls to wear with solid color clothes. This way you can spice up your outfit a bit and make it look more interesting.

Black and white silk shawls can also come in handy: the black ones for a more formal event and the white ones for a more delicate look, like for a garden party or a summer wedding.

So remember, when you're tired of your outfits, don't go spending money on new ones, but try to get some new accessories to go with them.
